Classic Fried Chicken
Chicken fried in peanut oil and butter makes for one of the amazing cooking chicken recipes. Complement it with salads and rice.
- 2 cup peanut oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 20 oz. chicken
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. hot sauce
- 1 Tsp. baking powder
- Salt and pepper
Take a zipper plastic bag and add combine, sauce, salt, and buttermilk in it. Make sure the ingredients of the bag are mixed well. Dip the chicken pieces in this buttermilk mixture. Chill the bag for some hours. Meanwhile, take flour and baking powder in a shallow bowl. Add some pepper powder along with plain salt. Take out the chicken pieces from the bag and add them to the flour mixture. Coat the chicken pieces well and fry them in a Dutch oven.
Chicken Alfredo features fettuccine cooked along chicken breast strips in a delicious Alfredo sauce.
- 15 oz. chicken breasts (cut them into strips)
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 cup cooked fettuccine
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1 cup store-bought garlic parmesan Alfredo sauce
- Chopped fresh parsley
Season the chicken as per your wish and then cook or roast it until cooked enough. Remove the roast chicken strips from the pan. In the same pan, heat more oil to cook the garlic. Pour the Alfredo sauce and sprinkle some salt if you want. Now add the chicken strips along with cooked fettuccine. Season with ground pepper as desired.
Melt In The Mouth Chicken
One of the simplest cooking chicken recipes out there, this melt-in-the-mouth chicken is a family favorite. Kids can even prepare this chicken dish without any ado!
- 14 oz. chicken breast halves
- 1/2 cup or more parmesan cheese
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 Tsp. garlic powder
Combine yogurt, salt, cheese, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl. Spread this yogurt mixture on the chicken pieces. Bake the chicken for 42 minutes or so at 190°C.
Italian Chicken & Rice
Chicken cooked with Italian seasoning and cheese and when paired with rice makes for a finger-licking meal.
- 1 cup of rice
- 10-12 oz. chicken of choice
- 3/4 cup cheese
- 1 cup mushroom soup
- Italian seasoning as desired
Season chicken chunks with Italian seasoning as desired and cook the chunks. While it’s cooking, take a baking dish/tray and combine half cheese, some seasoning, soup, and water. Add rice to the dish and combine it well. Now add the chicken on the tray and garnish with the remaining cheese. Bake the dish for about 35 minutes at 177 degrees C.
Chicken And Onion Kebabs
If you are a fan of Indian chicken dishes, try chicken & onion kebabs. Serve these kebabs with your favorite sauces and flatbread.
- 10 oz. piece of chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup yogurt (plain)
- 1 Tbsp. grated ginger
- 2 grated garlic cloves
- 1/2 Tsp. turmeric (ground)
- 2 red onions (cut them into wedges)
- 1/2 Tsp. garam masala
- Lime juice
- Salt and pepper
Combine all the kebab ingredients except for the chicken and onion in a bowl. Now stir in the chicken chunks, mix, and let them sit for 16 minutes. Heat your grill and oil the grates. Take large skewers and put the chicken chunks and onions on them. Grill the kebabs until chicken chunks are cooked enough and also the onions are tender.
