Banana & Peanut Butter Toasts

- 1 cup of natural peanut butter
- 3/4 Tsp. cinnamon powder
- 1 cup sliced banana
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 6 brown bread slices
- 2 Tbsp. sugar-free chocolate chips
Let your kids mix the butter with cinnamon, chocolate chips, and honey. Then toast bread slices in the toaster and spread this mixture on them. Top the toasts with fresh banana slices. Adding a layer of fresh chopped berries over banana slices is also an awesome idea.
Blueberry smoothie is one of the easiest and healthiest cooking recipes for kids. Rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, and fiber, blueberry smoothie tastes amazingly delicious.
- 1/4 cup oatmeal
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup or more frozen or fresh blueberries
- 1 Tsp. maple syrup
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
Blend the blueberry smoothie ingredients in a processor/blender. Add more bananas for a thick consistency. Serve the blueberry smoothie with sliced bananas along with chia seeds.
No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls
If your children like peanut butter, let them try these no-bake peanut butter cookies or balls. Coat them with sesame seeds or flax seeds for extra nutrition.
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 or more instant oats
- 1/4 cup organic honey
- 3 Tbsp. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 Tsp. vanilla
Mix together the peanut butter and honey. Add the vanilla along with crumbs and oats. Mix the peanut butter mixture and then form small balls. Instantly serve these balls or refrigerate them before serving.
Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes have healthy carbs along with protein, vitamin A, fiber, and vitamin C. Let your children make delicious roasted sweet potatoes and satisfy their snack cravings.
- 5 bowls of sweet potatoes chunks
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar (use brown if you can)
- 3/4 Tsp. sea salt
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil (melted)
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes and then cut into small chunks. Take a large sheet pan and place these chunks on it. Pour the salt, sugar, and oil on top. Toss with your hand to coat these chunks and then spread the chunks evenly. Preheat your oven to 218 degrees C and bake these sweet potato chunks for half an hour or so. Make sure to flip the chunks every 11-15 minutes.
Tip: Season the sweet potato with spices to make the spiced version of this recipe. Use a good mix of cumin powder, ground black pepper, red pepper powder, and garlic powder.
Veggie & Cream Cheese Wrap
Wraps can never fail to please anyone including kids. Let your kiddos prepare veggie & cream cheese wrap themselves and satisfy their hunger.
- 6 baked tortillas
- 3/4 small bowl cream cheese
- 1 cup of shredded carrots and onions
- 1/2 cup chopped lettuce and cucumbers
- ¾ cup chopped bell peppers and tomatoes
- Some olives
Take baked tortillas and spread cream cheese on top. Top the tortillas with carrots, onions, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers. Add some olives on top, wrap the tortillas, and serve,
